How do I search for members?
There are two ways that you can search our database: by nickname or by preferences. If you are looking for a specific person and you remember their nickname, enter it in the 'nickname' field at the top of the Search Page. If you are not looking for a specific person, but rather someone who matches a description you give, then use the second form on the Search Page, which allows you to describe the kind of person you are looking for. You can search by almost any category of information that we keep track of, including sex, location, languages spoken, etc.
How do I get email from other members?
LuvFree uses a sophisticated emailing system. When you get mail, it goes into your mailbox on LuvFree, and you are also automatically notified in your private email address. (The sender does not get to see your private email address. This double emailing is driven by our database.) This will present you with a link back to LuvFree, where you can then log in as usual to read your mail.
How do I temporarily turn my listing off?
To 'turn off' your profile so that other members cannot see it, please follow these steps:
- Log into LuvFree with your nickname and password.
- Click on "Suspend" link on "My panel" page and follow the instruction.
- If you later want to reverse it, go back into the same page and click on "Activate".
How do I permanently remove my listing and delete my account?
You may cancel your free membership at any time. Login to the site with your nickname and password. Find "My panel" button from "Member Menu". Then click "Delete" on the right side of the page.
Instead of canceling you can temporarily hide your profile: Click "Suspend" link on "My panel" page.
How do I update my profile?
To update your profile, please follow these steps:
- Log into the site using your nickname and password.
- Click on the "My Profile" under Member Menu to the top left hand side of the page.
- Make all necessary changes and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save".
Why should I upload my photos?
Looking at photos is an important part of most people's selection process. A nice picture of yourself adds personality and presence to your profile and profiles with photos get browsed ten times more often than those without photos.
What are the guidelines for posting a photo?
Photographs will not appear on the site until they are approved by our customer services. We reserve the right to reject any photo at our discretion. Our system automatically crops all photos to fit into our standard size.

Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Use a photo of yourself alone for your primary image.
- You must be in the photo and clearly visible.
- Nude, obscene, sexual or otherwise offensive photos will not be posted at all.
- Cartoon characters and photos of celebrities are copyrighted and will not be posted at all.
- Images with minors (children) will not be posted as your primary image.
- Group photos will not be posted as your primary image.
How do I post a photo?
Firstly you have to login into the site with your nickname and password. Click on "Upload Photos", under Member Menu and follow the instructions.
Once approved, uploaded photos will be posted as they are submitted. Our system automatically crops your photo if necessary before uploading it. Due to the volume of photos that we receive, it may take up to 5 working days for your photo to appear on your profile.
I received a notification message that I have a new mail in my onsite mail box, but it is not there.
We delete profiles of spammers and scammers and their mails are automatically deleted also. If you get a notification mesage but see no mail, it means the profile was deleted after your notification went out.
What are LuvFree chat and its rules?
LuvFree chat is a free of charge service helping members communicate and get to know each other better. Administrator may view chat from time to time. Please read our chat rules before using it.
- You need to have a photo on your profile to use our chat.
- No offensive, insulting or explicit language. Offensive references to sex, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation are forbidden.
- Do not threaten and abuse other members. If anyone threaten or abuse you please report.
If you break our rules you will be banned from the chat with or without notice and your account may be rejected.
