Describing oneself can be difficult at the best of times; but if pressed, I suppose I like to think of myself as philosophical, calm, though blessed with a ready wit and ticklish sense of humour. I love to communicate with a degree of sensitivity and thoughtfulness. Luckily or unluckily, depending on your point of view, I work from home as a digital designer, putting together e-brochures and audio-visual presentations for clients. My interests apart from the design work are many. I have, for instance, something of an obsession with movies and their DVD counterparts. Allow me to continue the list with philosophy (you know, as in the attempt to find meaning when, in all likelihood, there probably isn't any); music (rock, pop, jazz, blues and classical); design (mainly graphical layouts and photo-editing); film making (I'm modest about this as I'm coming to grips with shooting video); literary stuff (I'm wading through five different titles in addition to the usual magazines and internet guff); taking exercise (I walk or jog daily, engage in a spot of modest weight training, and enjoy the occasional rally of tennis. ) Heck, there's no doubt more that I haven't listed; I just didn't want to bore you to sleepy tears.  |
