It's best not to be a slave to semantics. Remember that the majority of the meaning in any sentence is in the context, not the words. Too, any wise person knows that two people can be saying the opposite things and both be absolutely right - yes, this AND that can both be true; we are multi-dimensional beings and where we're coming from (and our intentions) when we talk means more than the words themselves.
