There are beings, and there is Being. Let us not confuse the two. All of the beings have their Being in space-time, but such a theory laden term begs the question immediately over to the materialist camp, and is therefore philosophically inadequate, so, methinks, we're looking for a term more suited to describe that spatio-temporal horizon for that specific sort of linguistic being of the human being (Dasein), and I nominate the word: Enflounderment (it is the element in which we all flounder along, taking our floundering so seriously). The Enflounderment occurs in modes ranging from what empty space is to the brain of Albert Einstein (however the Mind is uncorporeal, and not Enflounderment itself). I'm made of Enfloundrment - eat sandwiches made of Enflounderment - catch fishes made of Enflounderment - & take dumps made of, you guessed it: Enflounderment. Anything that is, was or will be, is happening, happened or shall happen in the Enflounderment. We are each the repetition of an Idea, repeated in the Enflounderment. We are thrown into it, as beings (experiences of Being) with Enflounderment bodies. It's also quite possible that our minds are yet another mode of Enflounderment, and that there is nothing that isn't - but I'm not here to speculate, today. To stare into the abyss until it stares back is to stare into the gateway of all understanding until you realize it is always already infinite: the vapid pointlessness biting at the heals of our most cherished values; a true transcendentally solipsistic morality notwithstanding. The Enflounderment is where idea is realized, and us actual extant human beings are just that as we experience the idea of human being, wherein our Enflounderment bodies create a window into our Enflounderment world, through which windows our experience first arises, and then brings itself into question, as to nature and purpose and why there is anything at all. There must be something which cannot be nothing and so is doing this. Had there ever been Nothing, there would still be nothing, but instead, A = A, and the Principle of Sufficient Reason holds sway. Realizing what we are, repetitions of the Enfloundered human idea does not release you from the goofyhornysublime actuality of this idea of humanity. Not even the gift of death can do that.
"The 3rd planet is certain they're being watched
By an eye in the sky that can't be stopped
And when you get to the promised land
You're gonna shake the eye's hand"
We've been certain of an awful lot, off and on throughout our brief history in time, and most of it was wrong. I, for one, have decided to enjoy the Enflounderment for all its worth, and for all I'm worth too. WHat else is there?? Where???
