More about me:

Hi I'm Clint. Let me start off by saying that I'm not into the whole club/bar scene to meet people. I'm never really good at kicking off an interesting conversation so I wouldn't do good in those places and I'm not really sure how well I can do on a dating site since I'm not used to this type of scenario either. I've never been a very talkative person in most situations anyway. Here's to trying anyway.

 A little history on me
I worked retail at Walmart for 10+ years until I got tired of it a took on a career change. I currently help my dad with the family business in the timber business and chicken farming which is quite different from what I saw myself doing growing up. I went to college to be a computer programmer, but all of the jobs in that field at the time were far off and I didn't want to move away. I used to enjoy working on computers growing up but I've since forgotten most of it as well as my college skills because I don't have much use for it now. The phrase 'use it or lose it' is quite true with me. I still use my tech knowledge to help my dad with his 'computering' at work. (his word, not mine) Not all is lost. With my current job, I'm truly a jack of all trades. I've had to learn several new skills so that on any given day I could be an accountant, mechanic, welder, gopher, mill hand, or anything in between. Down side is that this type of job can have me starting early in the morning and working until late at night. Late nights don't bother as much as the early mornings. I hate getting up early.

 hobbies, like and dislikes
I love anime, music, video games, & other geeky things. Although I work full-time , I try to spend my free time watching movies/TV. My tastes range from family Disney movies to raunchy mature shows like South Park. Comedy is my favorite (seriously, who doesn't like to laugh and feel good?), but my least is horror. I don't understand the fun in trying to scare yourself, or worse yet, watching horror to NOT get scared. What kind of logic is that? It's like going to a comedy show to NOT laugh. I mean, really?
I've enjoyed watching anime since I was a teen (if you don't know what that is then you should just give up on getting along with me). I'm impressed with how anime has become more popular and well know these days, but I fear there's still not many local women into it and thus making it hard for me date anyone quirky like me.
I enjoy listening to new and old music when I'm traveling around for work. I like pop/rock/alternative mostly such as: Skillet, Nickelback, Daughtry, Seether, AC/DC & many many more! I listen to country as well but mostly because that's the majority of radio stations around here. I want to drive with music rather that drive in silence.
I also love to play video games when I have the time. Thanks to work and life, I'm no longer up on the latest systems or releases but I still love to play. RPGs, racing, shooters anything that is fun. I hate sports games though. It means the world to me to be able to sit down with a friend or girlfriend and go on a gaming adventure for a couple of hours. If you think video games are dumb, I know there are different strokes for different folks, but please move on.
I'm not a party animal, never have been really. I'm usually a couch potato. Staying at home is just the type of person I am plus I'm usually tired after work. I used to travel some with my friends and go to museums, concerts, and cons, but once again work and just getting older has put an end to most of that. I don't like sports (just putting that out there). I'm fairly goody, goody (no drinking, smoking, think before I act stuff) but I hardly consider myself a saint. I grew up in the south, but I consider myself more nerd than country. Also I prefer the quiet rural life over a busy city life. I can get anxious in large busy crowds.

:?: Are you still with me this far down the page? Impressive. I even lost myself a few times while proofreading this lol.
Wanna know more? Ask me! Thats why Im here. It's ok if you're shy. I am too but just be yourself. Just give me something to work with. Also I must warn you that I have a dark sense of humor so expect plenty of sarcasm and dirty jokes. Hopefully, you can take a joke.

About my ideal partner:

-I hope to find someone that enjoys many of the same things I do, but also my ideals. I don't need a party animal so please no smoking, drinking, or drugs. We all have our vices, but those aren't any of mine.
-I work full time so I definitely need someone who doesn't expect me to go out every night. Its not something I enjoy doing plus after work I'm freakin tired lol. If you expect to get along, liking the same types of music as me is a nice plus but I've since learned that in everyday life there's not many times where it matters.
-Also since I do play my fair share of video games, you shouldn't be afraid to pick up a controller. You don't have to be very good just willing to have a good time and get involved with me.It is a big deal to me since gaming is my favorite pass time that can be interactive between two people. If that is something you consider as quality time or just getting together with friends and hanging out for a movie or netflix, I want to meet you.
-I'm actually looking for a relationship and not a random hookup so you don't have to worry about a random booty call text from me. I truly hope to find the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I need someone who isn't extremely intense but rather kinda mellow about most things...if that makes any sense. I just need someone that will 'get' me. Makes me feel comfortable with who I am.
 plus and minus
-Cleanliness is a HUGE deal to me as well. Washing yourself is a given, but I'm referring to your housekeeping. I don't live with a sink full of dishes and dirty clothes all over the floor so I just can't accept someone into my home that wants to live that way. Mom raised me better than that and it amazes me that there are lots of people in the world that think of that lifestyle as ok. If the relationship ever gets to the 'moving in together', I certainly hope we can work as a team to keep up the household.
-A decent southern style cook is always a plus for me. Seriously though, what guy doesn't enjoy a good home-cooked meal? I'm guilty of eating too much fast food, and I'm trying to cut back on more of it. Both of my parents have had heart attacks so it's a big issue I need to work on. I've learned to cook a couple of things, but I'm not sure if it's better for me or just cheaper. I'm trying to add more veggies to my diet.
-Also moms should look elsewhere. I've been down that road already. I don't have any kids and I think one day I want to have kids. I'm just not looking for any right now. Sorry.
-No princess or high class life. That's not me. I'm plain and thrifty.
