I retired at age 63 in Feb. 2020, right before Covid struck, as things turned out. I'm in very good physical shape and excellent financial shape. Every year on New Year's Day I compute my net worth, and this year, (2024) for the first time, it was over a million dollars! I attended college in MA, otherwise, I've lived in the same MD county my entire life. I have 1 child, a 19-year-old daughter who attends college in PA and lives with her mom when she's not in school. I'm registered as an Independent but politically, I'm pretty conservative. Some of my interests are reading, (especially true crime) stocks/investing, (especially high dividend stocks) swimming, beaches, (especially the Jersey Shore) Scrabble, pro and college football and basketball, and horse racing, (especially harness racing).
