Does she like you?
by bookwormlady,Jan/27/2010If a Filipina truly likes someone, she wants him to become part of her world. One of the clearest signs is when she introduces him to her family. In the Philippines family is very important. We are raised to value close relationships with parents, siblings, grandparents, and relatives. So when she brings someone home or speak about him with the people closest to her, it means she is beginning to see him as someone special. She also wants her friends to meet him. Friends are often like family to us and their opinions matter because they care about our happiness. If I proudly introduce a man to my friends, it is usually because I want them to know the person who has become important in my life. Another sign is the way a Filipina cares for him. It can be shown in simple ways such as asking if he has eaten, making sure he is comfortable, checking if he arrived home safely, or preparing a meal when we spend time together. Cooking for someone can be a very personal expression of affection. When I prepare a delicious meal for someone I care about, I am not trying to impress him with perfection. I am sharing a part of myself, my time, my effort and my desire to make him feel welcome and cared for. If a Filipina loves a man, she may also become a little jealous at times. It is not always a negative sign. It means that someone has become emotionally important to her and she does not want to lose this person. When a Filipina likes someone, she usually invests her emotions and her time. She listens carefully to his stories, supports him during difficult moments and feels his happiness as if it were her own. These actions are signs of her care and attention. So if you are getting to know a Filipina and she introduces you to her family and friends, cares for your well-being, cooks for you, and shows honest emotions, these may be signs that she genuinely likes you and is beginning to see you as an important part of her life.
