Kind of a random bit of facts, but here I go!

I am from America and am spending (at least) the next three years in the UK doing research as a Postdoc. I love traveling and am planning on doing quite a bit of it while I'm here, and would love to have someone to take along. Ideally in a relationship, I'd find someone who equally enjoys sleeping in and being lazy, or going for a run in the sun during the day, and staying in and watching movie or going out and tearing up the town at night.

I like a variety of music from punk (Blink, Angels and Airwaves, Brand New) to country (Toby Keith, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney), a few TV shows (Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, Modern Family, Scrubs, NCIS) and a variety of movies (XMen, James Bond, Saw, Love Actually).

An ideal weekend for me would be spending a day exploring, going to museums, on hikes, or adventures, ending with a long night out with friends, and spending relaxing, cooking, and lounging about, doing a bit of work around the house.

I'm a former swimmer and it's in my blood, so I have awful hand eye coordination :-P But I do love going for runs/hikes, playing futbol and have been told I'm going to be playing a bit of squash now. I try to always be a glass half full kinda guy and love living life to the fullest, and do so whenever I can. Feel free to ask anything you want, I'm an open book :)
