How Long Do You Wait

by javame7, Feb/21/2013
I recently lost my wife, soul mate, beautiful sweet angel and my world.
Sometimes, I don't know what to do without her being in my life. I do know one thing, she would not want me to get lost and exist day by day; she would want me to go on living each day and make it the happiest it could ever be.

I don't know if you can find true love twice in a lifetime, but I am willing to try; the worst thing that could happen, is new friends will come into our lives.

I wrote this song 3 weeks before she passed last year; I want to share it with the world.

Wait (Anita's Song)

When you walk through a storm
there is no end in sight
You don't understand
but you press on to fight

Some times we lose faith
in the course of a day
When we hear God speak
he says child please wait

It was Jesus
that died for our sins
He gave his own life
on a mountain of hate

He was tortured
beyond all recognition
He paid the price in full
now the least we can do is wait

Soon the end will be here
the pain will come no more
Two angels God sent
take you through the door

When you open your eyes
right there at the gate
Your Savior greets you
at the end of your wait

She will always live in my mind and heart; she will always be remembered and not forgotten.

Thank you for letting me share my story. Never forget to smile each day! Joe Naudus Wink

Thank you Vits, Thank you Starlite1; you both are so kind. I am trying to move on; taking it one day at a time; there are so many memories in our home; sometimes, I just want to run and keep running, but I know that is not the answer; I must go on and search for happiness once again in my life. God will lead me in his time, I know that is true. Don;t forget to smile! God Bless, Joe
