Dating

I went on a date with a girl who said she “hates when guys talk too much.”

Perfect, I thought. I hate when girls talk too much. We’re already compatible!

So I nodded, smiled, and didn’t speak for… exactly 30 seconds. She asked, “So… what do you do?”

I said, “Nothing. Just sitting here silently, judging you like you’re judging me. Works out nicely.”

She laughed. I laughed. We were off to a great start.

By the end of the night, I realized dating is simple women want a guy who listens, men want a woman who laughs at bad jokes. The rest is just arguing over who’s paying for the Uber.
