I recently arrived in Ukraine for 10 month on a writing project. I'm a good writer because I have a very big vocabulary -- a very big, big, good, big, good vocabulary.
Very well educated in top Universities, though most of my learning is from outside the classroom. I speak English (obviously), some Ukrainian, and very little Russian (despite studying it in high school).
