My hobbies are varied from rescuing Labrador Retrievers to playing tennis to going to the theater to riding bikes through mud puddles with a bunch of kids –Also I love to write and read non fiction books-

I am constantly doing a self inventory so I can improve myself and to share that self knowledge/acceptance/love with safe others- I am seeking to be friends first, then, hopefully, a long term relationship with someone who wants to share life with a good, safe and dependable lady like I am- Good comes to those who wait- I don’t rush through a good meal, so why do it in something so important as a relationship??

Men looking for casual sex, or superficial "fun", please pass me by as I am not interested- This is non negotiable- I have way too much respect for my body, mind and spirit to “give myself up” in a relationship that is not committed- I know that I will meet many men, perhaps, before I find "Mr. Right" and that’s OK- There is nothing wrong with giving it a try and ending up good friends. One thing I am very proud of is my wholesome and good morals – In school I was girls and boys choice of “best friend for life”-

I am very open and honest and willing to learn new ideas and interesting things to do- I love animals and children. I think as long as my intent is learning rather than being an "authority", I will not discount or minimize my mate's opinions- We can disagree and still be grateful for the fresh idea and I fully appreciate compromise-

Something else that I will never accept or tolerate is abuse to me or any other living creature, or abuse of substances of any kind – I don’t do it so I will not be around it- This, too, is non-negotiable-

Because of my youthful looks, I get contacted by lots of younger guys and even though I am honored when younger men pay attention to me, I am looking for a man who is within my age group, 60 to 74 or 75 is my preference and I do not intend to change that- I want fellows I can relate to about news, music and other interests.

I love 60's 70's and 80's music also big band 40's music and Dixieland jazz is kind of neat- I have a great sense of humor- It has gotten me through some tough times-I love 2 be playful and laughter is something I indulge in a lot- When I go to a friends house, I am either talking/laughing with the adults or out swinging on the swings or jumping on the trampoline with the children- I am young at heart however I can be serious when need be-

I am as comfortable with a person who has a doctorate degree as I am with a blue collar worker- A lot of my education is self taught, although I did go to college-

Men who are game players need to head to Las Vegas, as I have no time for shallow well people - I don't bother with people who are disloyal and whose actions do not match their words-

What you see on Monday is the same on Saturday- I don't play games or wear masks and expect the same from my mate- I take good care of myself, mentally, emotionally and physically and my guy should also have the same, healthy sense of self love and respect-

I know I have a voice and a choice and so does my man, so I am not into controlling another nor will I allow anyone to control me- I want you to walk beside me- Not over me or beneath me as a healthy relationship, to me, should be.

I would like to have someone who will walk beside me, not over me or under me- Must be spiritual and interested in bettering himself and not be afraid to accept when he is wrong
