When I have time off from work I like to discover what our great state has to
offer and go on a daytrip of Texas. The nearby cities that I have explored so
far include Luling, Shiner, Brenham, Fredericksburg, Wimberley, and Lockhart to
name just a few. Great food and scenery awaits only a 1-2 hour drive from
Houston.
