Has anyone ever found their ideal mate on a website? I often wonder if these dating sites work.

I would like to find someone to go through the rest of my life with. A permanent relationship. One that involves: love, kindness, compassion for others, passion for living and her guy, forgiveness, a little faith, and a non-judgmental nature.
I want to be able to say “When you wake up in the morning…I will always be there”.

I would like to find someone who loves to carry on a conversation and has some depth to her character and intellect that would hold my attention. Loves to dance. Likes to dine out once in a while and would like to travel.

I certainly would like to take a vacation to Italy someday soon. I have visited many Caribbean islands and would like to go back and re-visit some as well as go to some new places.

Some of my hobbies are photography, football, ice hockey, history, poetry, and travel. Would love to take dance lessons. I love to dance close. I enjoy reading and watching a good movie. I am a animal lover. I love dogs, especially Golden Retrievers.

I am retiring in 2016, so I will have a lot of time on my hands to fill. Would like to find a warm-weather place to spend the winters or move to permanently. I do not care for the cold weather.
