I'm an economist, working internationally, typically on 3-4 year contracts. East Africa, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia. Been there, done that. I am currently hunkered down in Cambodia, working for the Cambodian Government. All this makes me a professional wanderer.
It's all been great, but I'm looking, eventually to make a change. Develop a small beach hotel, read the remaining great books I've missed out on, surf, cook red Thai curry with whatever seafood happens to be around.
I'm a single father, which is both exhilarating and challenging. I have three children, the eldest of which is adopted from Africa. I find life full of contradictions, meaningful and meaningless. In a lot of cases, I believe in right and wrong, black and white.
