Ok, I'm considered intelligent by many, self employed professional. Basically I have been in a stale marriage for a long time. Only recently decided it was time to start making an effort to enjoy life. I'm not a bad guy and my friends all understand my situation and are surprised I haven't done something sooner because they know what has been going on for over 15 years. I love day trips on Sundays with my camera to anywhere within 3 hours drive of the Pittsfield area (one way). Get up early Sunday morning and gone for the whole day. Most of the time I am by myself because my partner prefers to stay home and be a couch potato. As is the case all week. Right now I am looking for someone to join me on my Sunday day trips on a platonic basis. If something else comes of it I'm willing to discuss it and deal with it. I get absolutely no conversation at home. This means more to me than anything else. Someone who is fun company and a conversationalist. I am willing to meet someplace public for a drink or something to see if we will work with each other. This could be a Sunday afternoon thing or I am usually available and go out on Wednesday nights after 6:30. Also can meet for lunch during the week if that is easier because I work from home and make my own schedule. I could say more but then we would have nothing left to talk about! LOL

About my ideal partner:

Friends and day trip/ activity partner first. If something comes of that I am prepared to deal with it.
