I'm a musician and generally creative guy who basically likes simple things. I enjoy learning about the world, especially the natural world. I'm fascinated with understanding people and how they navigate the challenges all of us face in a world that can be cold and impersonal. At the end of anything I could say about my experience of living, I'm a humanist and believe love and compassion are the greatest gifts we're given. I believe we all have an inborn ability to elevate ourselves and rise above negative circumstances to become better versions of ourselves. Some of us just forget that we're always writing the script to our life story and it's open to editing, if you want it to be.
I enjoy playing acoustic guitar, piano and singing, mostly stuff that I grew up with (Cat Stevens, Bowie, The Doors, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Jethro Tull, ELP, Progressive Rock in general) and regard myself as a cool person to hang with. I have a good sense of humor, silly really, and like humor that isn't mean-spirited.
