In the interest of truth, and for those who actually read profiles, I don't respond to anything except an actual written message. Also I was diagnosed with a cancer called multiple myeloma. The Dr's say it's treatable but not curable. The cancer is in my bone marrow and a lot of it is in my ribs and spine. Right now it's causing a lot of pain and is somewhat debilitating. I'm hoping things will improve for me but only time will tell. I live alone and have no family near by. However I do have a great friend that I love dearly who is there for me whenever possible. Although not easy I will continue to do my best in dealing with whatever life throws at me.

If you choose to contact me please put some thought into what you have to say. If you're looking for things to talk about it would help if you read everything I wrote and please include at least something about it in your message. A bland introduction from you in my mind shows you either didn't read my profile or you're not all that interested and will likely result in a snarky reply from me.

Also anyone wanting to get to know me and begin a relationship with me will have to do so with the understanding that I can't do a lot of things anymore and could certainly use at least some help in dealing with what's going on in my life so things might be a little lopsided and in a some ways you would be giving more than you get. It wouldn't be because I'm just a taker, but because I need some help and I may not give as much in return beyond love, a roof over your head and food in your belly.

I'm a prepper/planner type person. I like the idea of living off grid and at this point have achieved some of that. I live in a rural area of South Carolina with no big cities nearby. My home is a little unusual but lends itself well to basic off grid living. I'm more of an introvert and like to spend most of my time around the house. I'm a very easy going person and have absolutely no interest in dealing with any conflict so if you have difficulty controlling your emotions or like to push buttons to get reactions then please don't bring that into my life.

I'm looking for a needle in a haystack, a woman who is younger than myself, has no baggage, understands and accepts the differences between the genders and still has some purity left to offer. Your education, career, income, makeup, hairstyle, nails, fashion or anything else a modern woman thinks are important will not impress me. What will impress me is femininity, purity, humility, empathy, submission and the ability to love the man and not the paycheck.

In most ways I'm a very traditional Man and believe my role is to bring wisdom, leadership, security, Integrity, dependability, dedication, love, affection, masculinity and a sense of humor into the relationship. Because I'm a traditional Man, my home is a Patriarchy, and not a democracy nor a matriarchy.

In general msm & social media only occupy a small place in my life and should be the same for you. Porn for men is akin to social media for women. Both are very destructive to lives and relationships. Even though I would very much like to be in a relationship again, I would rather remain alone then try and make things work with a modern minded (feminist) woman.

Even though I'm old fashioned. I will not make the first move, so if you are interested then it is up to you to make first contact. And if we decide to continue communicating, then just so you know. I have little tolerance for people who don't put much effort into conversations and getting to know the other person. What that means is sporadic messaging, poor return messaging, poor response times and a general lack of messaging etiquette won't fly with me.
