I retired at age 63 in Feb. 2020, right before Covid struck, as things turned out. I'm in very good physical shape and excellent financial shape. Every year on New Year's Day I compute my net worth. In 2024, for the first time, it was over a million dollars, and even though I'm retired, it's continued to increase since then! I attended college in MA, otherwise, I've lived in the same MD county my entire life. I have 1 child, a 21-year-old daughter who attends college in PA and lives with her mom when she's not in school.
