Hi, I'm Sam. I grew up in the Midwest but made my way to Washington for college and never wound up leaving. I love DC, but try to make it home when I can.

Some Likes:
-Running (last year I ran the Marine Corps marathon...so I guess running would qualify as a like)
-Travel...I lived in Austria and did a semester abroad in Turkey and loved both. There are tons of other places I have to check off my list.
-Baking. Yes, baking. I guarantee that I make the best fudge you've ever tasted.
-Baseball
-Being a tourist in my own city...but not DC tourists.
-Skiing
-Cheesy/bad jokes
-Catching up with friends
-Politics
-Witty & sarcastic cartoons (think Family Guy, The Simpsons etc)

A Few Dislikes:
-Spicy food
-Fish (you won't make me like sushi. I've tried...believe me)
-Cramped spaces...I'm tall!
-Scary movies
-Getting sunburnt


Basically, to sum it up...I'm a pretty laid back guy who appreciates time with his friends and family. I love to travel, read, go to movies and try new stuff and things.
